Everyone has heard about the importance of wearing sunscreen when out in the sun. Pool owners should always have sunscreen nearby. A broad spectrum of sunscreen should be used. Protection against UVA and UVB rays with an SPF factor of at least 15 is recommended. Direct sunlight without sunscreen protection should be avoided between 10 am and 4 pm.; anyone over the age of six months of age should reapply a full coat of sunscreen every two hours.
