When choosing what type of above ground swimming pool is right for you, three factors are important to consider.

Above Ground Pool Size - You want to make sure that there will be enough space in the pool for the amount of people that will be using it. Allowing for fifteen square feet of swimming space for each swimmer is usually a good way to decide what size of pool to buy. Another factor dealing with pool size is the amount of space you have in your yard. You will want to allow at least three feet of yard space beyond the measurements of your pool.
Price - Above ground pool packages range in price from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars. Pool composition impacts the price significantly – that is, if your pool will be made out of steel, resin, or aluminum. Naturally, the price is also set by the size of the pool.
Installation –This should be a large factor in deciding which type of swimming pool is right for you. If you want your pool to be left up all year round, then you should be ready to winterize your pool properly. This process includes purchasing pool winterization chemicals and doing your research on off-season pool care.
